hello, in science class we did a building challenge and we had to build a solar oven to cook a marshmallow . Our team's plan was have a box and put mirrors on ether side to reflect the sun to the marshmallow and the marshmallow was on an egg cup. Then we put tinfoil on the bottom and the side to help reflect the sun. Then we had a magnifying glass and put it over the marshmallow and the sun went through the magnifying glass and on to the marshmallow and we burnt the marshmallow. Our team won 1st place because we burnt the marshmallow first.

Hi I have finished my birdhouse and I made my own design, here it is

female finch
male finch
The bird I am doing is an American Goldfinch, their scientific is Carduelis tristis . Male Finches are a brighter yellow so they can attract female finches. The females are a brownish colour to blend in to their nests and the juvenile are a brownish colour also so they won't get eaten and they can blend into their nests.
juvenile finch
They are 11-13 cm long and 11-20 g. They migrate to mid Alberta to North Carolina  during the breeding season and from the Canadian border to mexico in the winter.
